I am still home alone. But the week is half done, so they will be back soon. I feel bad for my wife though. She has all the kids, one is sick, and they are at a place where the only thing to do is swim, watch TV or play with the other kids. Since one child is sick, no swimming. You think about that. 1/3 of the activities involve water, but since one kid is sick, no swimming. Good thing Grandma is there. Of course, I am sure that taking 8-10 kids under the age of 10 to a pool by yourself is no picnic.
The Pecan is ill. My great wife took him to Urgent care in Brainerd last night. He has a double ear infection. I didn’t even think he HAD double ears, just two single ones. Who knew?! He also has a little wheeziness(sp?) in his chest, so he gets the nebulizer again. Except that the nebulizer is here at home. My wife is a great adventurer, and decided to wait until DARK to take him, thus getting herself lost. Luckily, I was home with a fast internet connection and was able to help her on her way. On a plus side to that, I got to talk to her for quite a while, something that I don’t usually get to do, even when she is home. So I am thankful for that. I am also thankful that all my children are healthy and that the Pecan will be ok in a few days.
Oh, about those posts from my Seattle trip. I am still thinking about that, but secretly hoping you will all forget about it. Here is a synopsis. Train, train, train, flat North Dakota, Montana, Washington. Seattle (YEA). Rain, rain, rain, rain, rain. Repreat backward. That is ‘bout it. Hope you all enjoyed the trip.
