This and That

Well, it sure has been a while since I have written.  Sorry about that.  Life is busy.  Work is really busy, and home is even more busy.  With summer (HA!) here now, there is all sorts of outdoors type stuff to do, and just not enough time to do anything.

The kids are all growing like weeds.  I am try to enjoy them while they are young, and succeeding for the most part.  They do try my patience every once and a while.  But they are kids, right?

I hope to get on here a bit more often than I have been, but we will see.  I need to weed the garden, wash the bike, play with the kids, and about a zillion other things first.  Maybe I can work through some of my work around here this weekend and have some more free time.  Of course, I have other things to do if I even end up with free time.  I still want to take a couple of more camping trips this summer.  Perhaps I will just take the boys next time.  It is hard to keep track of the Walnut and Almond while we are camping, but it should be better without the Queen of Whine, the Peanut, around.  I mostly had fun when we went, but man, if she doesn’t get her way, it is not fun.

I am glad that I am able to ride my bike most days.  This past week has really been a little on the cold, damp side.  It’s hard to drive when I could ride.  Next year I hope to have a larger bike which will make the ride a lot more enjoyable and smoother.

We are looking forward to the weekend.  I think we could be heading to the cities for some fourth o’July action, but we will see.  I am not sure.  Tomorrow is the wife’s birthday.  She is (already has) a new camera. So happy birthday dear!  Take some nice pictures for me.
