Well, it is just about that time of year again. Fall is coming. It must be. I am picking stuff from the garden, the lawn doesn’t need to be mowed anymore, and I can walk around outside in a sweatshirt almost all day and be comfortable. I love fall! Cool weather for sleeping at night, warm enough to enjoy the day. It doesn’t rain much, there is little humidity, fewer bugs and the air is clean and crisp!
I really look forward to fall stuff, like picking apples, hay rides, Halloween(!), and running around with the kids. I guess it is time to take a trip up the North Shore to see some colorful leaves, and maybe even take another camping trip. Fall also mean back to school, but since we home school, that is kinda lost, but still there too. I will miss riding my bike to work, but I guess I have a few more weeks before it is really too cold to ride.
The best thing that I am looking forward to this fall though is the birth of the Pecan. She can come any day now, but I fear we will have to wait another 5 weeks. At least with the cooler weather, my sweet wife is a little more like the fall weather, which is bearable.
