Well, we are now (almost) four weekes into our Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University Class.  We are trying hard to get our emergency fund in place so that we can start on our debt sno-ball.  But, as Dave says, the emergency fund is for emergencies, and we have had some here that past few days.  A flat tire, and the propane company seems to want us to PAY for the propane, imagine that.  Ok, neither of those are really ‘emergencies’.  We should have been planning on replacing the tires, and paying for propane.  But hey, if we had been doing all that already, would we need to take the class???

In our new ‘quick budget’, we actually have budgeted for those items in the future, but for now, if will have to come from the emergency fund.  I am actually starting to think this Ramsey guy may know what he is talking about.

I didn’t get to see the commercials (er, game) Sunday, because I was sleeping.  See the previous post.  Anyway, I did finally watch them, and I guess I would have to say that my favorite ones were the ones that everyone else didn’t like!

I really thought the planters commercial was great. I also liked the taco bell commercial.  There were so many.  The best site I could find to view them was AOL’s , so look for yourself, and find your favorite.  It’s ok, it doesn’t have to be the same as mine.
